The Lightning are well known for their air superiority, the speed that they have are not easily attainable. Many other countries had attempted to model Lightning however, failed to do so. In addition to that, they comes with stealth capability which makes them invisible to enemy forces and on the radar, making them unique jet available to U.S.A only.

- At Elite Level, Lightning gain Armor and Speed bonus.
- At Elite Level, Lightning now fires red trailer missile and the Hypersonic Bomb now pulses red instead of blue. Base damage for both are increased by 30%.
- Lightning is invisible to enemy radar.
- Lightning cloaks intermittently.
- 40% Chance for Survivor to escape at Rookie Level.
- 60% Chance for Survivor to escape at Veteran Level.
- 90% Chance for Survivor to escape at Elite Level.
