Paladin Basic Infantry:
Available To: All Fragments
Cost: 150
Speed: Fast
Armour: Low
Strength: Low
Ability: None
Strong Against: Low strength infantry
Weak Against: Anything else.

The basic ground unit for The Circle Of Light armed with a single arm cannon they have a relatively strong anti-infantry attack but are very weak despite their cybernetic suit which they are completely integrated to in increase mobility.
They have no abilities other than basic firing and as such are virtually useless later in the game, they take up the least room in transports allowing for 10 of these infantry to every 5 of normal infantry. Useful for taking out any unit with a minimum range due to their speed.

Ranger Support Infantry:
Available To: All Fragments
Cost: 450
Speed: Fast
Armour: Medium
Strength: Low / Medium
Ability: Deploys in order to wield a mortar which emits has an EMP effect
Strong Against: Low strength or deployed infantry, Light to Medium vehicles.
Weak Against: Fast moving units, Sniper class infantry.

A useful support unit for The Circle. Fast and equipped with a set of Dual Pulse SMGs and a large deployable mortar with an additional EMP effect. They can take out basic infantry while undeloyed but due to their minimum range they cannot engage any infantry units of vehicles while deployed if they approach too close leaving them without any additional units for close range defence can be a very quick way for these units to die. Despite their long range they are ineffective against sniper units which can take one out in a mere two or three shots before they can even get a single mortar shot in. Excellent for raiding a base and keeping defences disabled.

Well it's going to be in this mod... I'm not entirely sure but, I'll assume you mean the mortar and it's not decided as of yet. Range etc. is more balance related and my priority right now is finishing the graphics so I can actually focus completely on the playability.

It's going to be around that. Also bear in mind it'll make anything it hits that's powered stop working which means it may end up shorter range.

one thingy I noticed about the Ranger was that it's foot "stirs" when it fires. I assume this is a minor bug in it?

Quite - The foot issued fixed and I'm going to be redoing the paladin. (Right after the Tainted tech centre - so in about 30 minutes)
