I voted TFT, because i've never played the first 2 warcrafts yet, but i would like to. Graphics are no matter to me, i just want to learn the whole story while playing a game _________________ QUICK_EDIT

But anyways I would second DoMoNiC_HuNtEr, when he says that StarCraft owns Warcraft. Though I would choose TFT and War 3 just for the cinematics :p. QUICK_EDIT

Um, the Warcraft II expansion is called Beyond the Dark Portal, while Tides of Darkness is the (sub)title of the original Warcraft II.
I vote for Warcraft II because it's my first RTS ever, and I immediately fell in love with the genre when I first saw it

I have played a lot of rts already, but my favorite atm is Warcraft III. The expension makes it even better because you have more units, so you can make more strategy's. Warcraft totaly roxx online. Me and my friend always play in a team and you can also join clans and go for clan stats. QUICK_EDIT
I've only ever played the warcraft that was on the ps1, and one on pc, i played wow but to be honest i hated it , i didnt like it before i played it but i gave it a shot it it wasnt for me. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
All that I've experienced of Warcraft is Warcraft 3, Frozen Throne, and WoW. I instinctively hate WoW so I'd have to go Frozen Throne. I agree starcraft, by far, beats warcraft though
