[WIP] Anubis
After a long unmentioned hiatus - I got bored and started on some new concept art. Enjoy. (Mainly expansion to the walking base to come along with some biomechanial features.)
Of course, the crucified enemies are mainly for show.

Depending on how it goes it'll either:
Be a quick, light armoured infantry mutator and structure killer
Be a relatively slow walking obelisk style unit - retaining the mutagens of course.
Of course, actual weapons are undisclosed as of yet.

Who said they had to? It's my design - they mount their enemies onto their war machines as power sources - they are twisted bastards who see anyone or anything which isn't one of their own as inferiro. I'm not changing it. I'm making this mod for me, not others afterall.
This mod quite possibly will end up offending people who are:
Oversensitive about violence
Offended by imagery which could be seen as mocking religion
Not myself

well anyway. if your gonna make a spider that gets power from enemys like that, you should make it be able to deploy and make a feild of crosses with the spider in the midle and every time it kills an enemy it hangs it on a cross and sucks the life out of it and powering your bases. _________________ Global Genocide Website QUICK_EDIT

I've already got two power plants for The Tainted - I don't really see a need a walking one. QUICK_EDIT

What are level of blood and gore of you're mod anyway?
Higher than average for a RTS.
now we still dont know, average is pretty low.
so... wich of the following will correspond with the mod the most:
1. standard blood effects -> blood on death
2. blood on death + on explosion impact
3. blood on death and all impacts
4. 3 + blood stays on the ground
5. fountains of blood and pieces of soldiers flying
6. amazing gibs and large pools of blood
7. special attacks for even more, and larger bloodfountains

It'll be around 7. Special attacks from heroes obviously result in nastiness (e.g. sword = sliced in half body bits flying blood spraying happiness)
Since blood spray on impact wouldn't really work for the engine that won't be in though. QUICK_EDIT

That would result in more likely reconnect errors and possible slowdown. Some units may make use of particle effects (Likely as you stated, melee weapons; swords hitting vehicles resulting in sparks and normal units blood) but most won't simply as it's just not sensible to have so much crap just for the sake of gore effects. Suggestion though, since the bodies are a bit covered with blood it would make sense if the lower part of unit itself had some minor blood. It is nothing major but it is something that annoys me a bit

Bear in mind that that's the only thing with any texturing as it'd be underbearing to have the people grey etc. QUICK_EDIT
The model looks great.. but the legs seem like really thin... lol and it looks top heavy, and as if its about to fall over head first... (back or forward lol) _________________ QUICK_EDIT
