Nice stuff. I still think it's too flat to be a refinery of some kind but it looks good non-the-less. Smile

That's probably because most of it would probably be underground.

I'm sorry to day, but it looks a bit plain Confused It's very flat for a refinery, and it looks like it has only a few shades of grey and red, not anything more...

uhm...dutchy....this is usually the typical nod style.....flat, aerodynamic, most of the complex is hidden underground and not so vulnerable to attacks...
the nod buildings were mostly based on concrete, like bunkers, look at the obelisk of light or other TS nod buildings, they used to be covered in plain concrete.

and less is also more, it brings the fine details to highlight.
i prefer buildings like this, it's very aesthetic.

It looks industrial, it's fine. Maybe if it was a bit less flat, it would look even better. But I bet infantry & vehicles scale well with it, am I right?

right.

Most, if not all of nods buildings are that way. We wanted them to look like half-way sunken into the ground since that is just simply how Nod is building their bases.

Robopope is redoing all Nod buildings, but the old Nod buildings won't be thrown away, I have use for them in the campaign, a bit like transitional forms, different designs for non-general Nod.

I really like the new style of Nod building going on here, I find myself really fond of the windows too. Great stuff can't wait to see more.

It's the greatest use of grey I've seen in a while. Lovely little spikey things.

Everybody complains about the flatness, without even remembering how flat the TS refinery, in fact, was. I think this one is simply beautiful. Maybe lower its cost, though? Since the Nod harvester is cheaper than GDI's equivalent, so should be the refinery.

I don't think the cost is still valid. It's pretty much useless to argue about those values (and to put them up as well >_>) since we're editing them all the time anyway... #Tongue

It's easy maths: 2000-1400 = 600, the original cost of the refinery itself. So when the Nod harvester costs 1100, it should be 1100 + 600 = 1700.

Veins aren't crystalline. If you want info on TO's Tiberium, then you want the threads about Tiberium, Tiberium Disease, Tiberium Monsters, etc.

I like especially how part of the building shifts backwards in the build-anim. Very nostalgic.
