In RotD version 2.7, I deleted some of the original maps from the mods' mix file containing them. They do still appear in the list though, so it's possible that if you select a map that isn't in the mix file, the game defaults to Grand Canyon. I mostly cut the bigger maps, to keep the file size low. Smaller maps should work fine (at least I think so).
This is because 2.7 was never meant to be released at all, but when the PPM Plays Christmas Edition 2007 came up I rushed 2.7 out the door, that's why it's so rough around some edges. Version 3.0 was supposed to be the 'true' successor to 2.6, but due to lack of both motivation and public interest, it was put on halt in favor of TDX.
If I can find the motivation and time, there might be at least a version 2.8 this year, there's some stuff I had finished but not implemented in 2.7, along with fixing the map issue, integrating the 2.71 hotfix and some new features it might be enough to justify a new version. It will most likely be the last one, though, since public interest seems to have shifted from RotD towards DTA (and away from TS mods in general, for that matter). QUICK_EDIT

All I can explain is that your grammar is really hard to understand... And now I do, I really don't see how it's even relevant
Anyway, RotD's maps are listed in missions10.pkt. If you want to fix this issue yourself, use XCC Mixer to extract missions10.pkt from rotdxp02.mix into the folder RotD has been installed in, then DELETE missions10.pkt from rotdxp02.mix so the maps won't appear in the list twice.
Now open missions10.pkt with wordpad, compare its content with the content of rotdxp10.mix and then delete every map you don't see in rotdxp10.mix from missions10.pkt. Now save and your problem should be solved (you can leave missions10.pkt in the folder). _________________ QUICK_EDIT
