First of all, ROTD finally has a ModDB-Profile:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/return-of-the-dawn
That also had the nice side-effect that I was contacted by strategyinformer.com, and they'd like to "host" ROTD and any future projects by me, but I had a look at the site's structure and "hosting" seems to be meant more like "mirroring", so don't worry, ROTD won't leave PPM.
Also, I'd like to inform you that ROTDs 2.8 release is getting delayed again, but not due to lack of progress, rather because I'm working on some things that weren't originally planned for this version, so I simply need more time.
I'm targeting the End of April/Beginning of May timeframe now, but that's a "may or may not happen"-thing, so it's basically a "When it's done" in disguise

What I can say is that the relatively short amount of time that has passed since I started work on 2.8 as well as the small numerical jump from 2.72 to 2.8 are not representative of the amount and in some cases size and significance of the changes, improvements and new features. 2.8 dwarfs all previous updates.
Anyway, the ModDB-profile contains a few new screenshots from 2.8, although I'm not showing off too many of the new features there

April will bring more media updates, so stay tuned.
