looks rly good. I think you shold use more colors, isntead of just red(remap) and brown. Oh and I see a small piece of yellow there Very Happy

@FistOfFire, well the need is because my com takes 1600x1200 screenshots.

@DonutArnold, Well, walls have always been remappable, just in Vanilla YR who ever hosted the game is what color all walls were remapped too reguardless if you owned them or not. But with Ares it is now possible for all sides to have thier own remapped walls Smile

Updated VenomTemple. It's the very building Venom himself was created and cloned from, and a very vital structure in the pursuit of his demise.

Which base do you guys think looks better. The one on the Barracks and temple or the one on the constyard?

I used PSP, which I use for most of my anims. Here I just opened all 16 frames and on each frame applied a 1 pixel squiggly electric line. But made them different in each frame. I think I'm gonna redo it though, there's a couple of the frames that I dont think I like.

Why exactly does your 'laser' gate have a shadow, like, below the laser part? And darker pieces that look like shadow on the actual laser beams?

By the way, you really have to be more careful not to AA the borders between your remap and your building, and between the building and the background; there are red lines around all remap, and blue lines around all buildings.

yeah, I really need to fix those issues. Just a simple Color replace should do the trick. I hope Laughing

You dont like the laser gate shadows? I guess there really shouldnt be any, as normal lasers dont give off a shadow anyway. Good enough I'll remove them.

I'm thinking about giving Venom a new face lift. I have come up with these 2 images here. Do these textures look better than the originals? I think these give a little more deatail, color and depth to the buildings. What do you guys think?

I dont know, if I keep changing everything probably never #Silly

Na, it's still on schedule for sometime this year. It doesnt take me long at all to retexture. I already have all the buildings and anims saved in max. So it's just a matter of reapplying the textures and rerendering.
