Revenant: Pyradon Flame Tank
---Revenant unit update--- Pyradon Flame Tank
Description:
The Pyradon is an heavy tank armed with 2 large flamethrowers. It excels at fighting infantry, and to a lesser extent, structures. It can clear occupied structures with its flamethrowers by burning all infantry out. While the flamethrowers are very effective against infantry and structures, they have 2 downsides: it doesn’t do much damage to enemy tanks, and it has a very small range. To compensate for the small range, Revenant engineers have increased the armor for the Pyradon, and made it more resilient against anti-tank weapons fired by infantry.
Because of the fuel tanks on the back, it explodes into a fireball when destroyed. While being effective in its basic form, it becomes a real threat when upgraded with Chemical Fire. This increases the damage dealt with each burst, but also increases the explosion when the Pyradon is destroyed.

Note: model and texture may change at any point during development.
Non-official comment: as I didn't really like the old Prometheus, and I saw some inspiring images, I decided to create a Flame Tank

Beside having no idea how the tracks in front hold, I like the way it looks. The front also seems like a great place for an upgrade. _________________ DUNK! QUICK_EDIT

Renamed this unit to Pyradon, as it is an almost completely different unit, and I never liked the old name anyway
Also, I noticed what you meant gufu. I'll most likely slightly update the model QUICK_EDIT
TBH I think you should update your textures. A lot of the detail of the model gets lost in the darkness and any areas lacking detail can be improved with a good texture. I'd certainly make the corners and edges clearer and add scratches/scorch marks. QUICK_EDIT

Adding detail to textures is on my to-do list, but I prefer to do that when I have most units modelled and textured. What you see here (and on most other units) is just the base texture, with sometimes some details. The only one which has details as you meant is the Viking. QUICK_EDIT
