I don't know how others usually fix problems like that, but I usually get into an issue, when the middle of my voxel is too wide and the best way would be just to delete the problematic lines... and I don't find a tool how to do that in VXLSE.

I'd be very happy if there would be oe which deletes the actual plane in the Editing Window both from the voxel and the bounds, obviously.

You'll select which plane you want by viewing it (in either x,y or z axis), and remove the entire plane. You will then have to copy the next plane into the empty one, and repeat the process all the way out. Slow process, but it's the only way.

Or you can nudge the unit further along the x axis, then mirror it. This won't work well on all voxels, though.
