While the destroyer was indeed efficient. The Allied Nations had further improvements to the destroyer class of ships. In most Allied Naval Forces the Gunboat was later phased out by their Navy in favor of Recon Dolphins. The Eagle Commandos have stayed adamant on using the Gunboat which offers much stronger firepower and durability in exchange for stealth and cheaper training costs.
