Is it possible to implement the GLA's tunnel mechanic to D-Day where infantries & land vehicles can be transported from one place to another instantly without having to travel over long distance by just entering the tunnel & then come out from another tunnel the player selected, And since France's base buildings & structures are based on the Maginot Line so France should be able to build tunnels (During WW2 Germany & Japan built tunnels too but their tunnels can only accommodate infantries unlike the French's).

It is possible to add a GLA style tunnel system but they're not really useful in the RA2 engine. You cant build them faraway from your base very easily like in Generals. When it comes to moving units around your base, because of the short distances its quicker to just make them move themselves rather then having to micro mange the loading and unloading into a tunnel building. The AI doesn't know how to use tunnel networks too.

If I ever get around to making a map of London I might add civilian underground stations entrances that are connected, similar to the subway entrance in C&C3.

The Maginot Line was made up of a series of separate bunkers, images with them connected with an elaborate system of road and rail tunnels is all propaganda aimed at making the Germans think the Maginot Line was bigger then it really was.

What do you think about adding this "Maginot Tower" for France? It's designed as a "vertical airbase" to store & launch fighters (Maybe small ground attackers & dive bombers too) However it's still too tall & big for D-Day (Its height is whopping 6,500ft tall, Taller than the Burj Khalifa) but i think you can make a downsized/scaled-down version of the tower.

Aircraft can only land and take off from the ground.

In my idea, The downsized Maginot Tower would function as a "stationary aircraft carrier" long-range base defense (I think this idea is suitable for the total war mode) where it will launch a bunch of small AI-controlled fighters (In D-Day, AI-controlled carrier planes are smaller than the player-controlled airfield planes) to shoot down enemy aircrafts & ground attackers to destroy the approaching ground enemies respectively, While the tower can also monitors the enemy units's movement like the "Gap Generator" from RA2 except that the tower cannot create shroud/fog of war like the GG. (It's because the tower has the "Weather Bureau" on top of it, Do you like this idea of mine?

I'm planing to add the Ba 349 Natter point defense fighter in the future, it will automatically launch from a building and attack any enemy aircraft that come within range. That's pretty much the same as what your asking for but it doesn't involve a 2km tall building.

All sides can build radar structures that will detect enemy unit movements, the same as the Psychic Sensor building in YR.

If the "C.450 Coleoptere" is added to D-Day, Will it be launched from a mobile player-controlled truck or from a base defense structure?

Would you like to make French Barracks narrow & small like the Soviet one from the OG (Original) RA2? (Like if it's directly connected with their underground tunnel complex & the infantry comes out of it via ladder, stairs & elevator).

I haven't decided on a design for the French buildings yet.

How about adding the civilian "Road Tunnel" from Tiberian Sun & Beta version of RA2 where the infantries & vehicles of all sides can pass through?
