I'm not sure if this bug was fixed in the latest version

Basically I created a custom amerparadrop superweapon and it worked well, but whenever I added a transport vehicle with predefined passengers to the list it always cause a freeze when the superweapon become available for use. The only fix is to remove the object or Initialpayload parameters. Quite a bummer when the vehicle I wanted to add have opentopped and no manual unload for extra weapons.

Interesting.I think this (Initial Payload Paradrop) never tried before until now  and no one could realize it. Since AlexB seems  that he abandoned Ares,there will be no direct fix for this situation.Maybe Phobos  developers and contributers can make something about that.(Phobos is stand alone, but usually it completes and supports Ares)

That is indeed sad to hear. If AlexB no longer works on Ares then I suppose migration to Phobos is inevitable.

In theory you could paradrop a dummy unit and then make it convert into the unit with passenger when it lands.
