Fallout Wars Story (version 1.000000)
Brief Overview:
New Arroyo
After the "Chosen One" of Arroyo destroyed the Enclave's oil rig (with extreme luck against insurmountable odds), He (or She) led the survivors of Arroyo along with the Vault 13 dwellers to found New Arroyo. New Arroyo became prosperous, especially with the aid of the Shi from San Francisco. New Arroyo and the Shi formed a close bond.
NCR
The New California Republic had continually grown throughout the decades. In the barren wasteland filled with despair, desolation and danger, NCR provided the people in the vicinity with hope and order. Order based on old moral teachings, which appeal to the greater many. As a result, tribes and villages joined the NCR in forging a new state where law, order and peace abounds for all.
The NCR has the single largest standing army in the whole of the west coast. Each of its villages and tribes are required to provide the Republic with a small number of warriors for conscription; not that it really matters in this case because the number of volunteers eager to serve for the Republic's cause overwhelms the requirement anyway.
Brotherhood of Steel
The Brotherhood of Steel is inarguably one of the strongest forces in the land today. Having access to prewar military tech enabled the BOS to restore old weapons as well as make new ones. The religion of the BOS centered around technology; they cared practically for nothing more. the BOS was never known to be completely self-sustained; to survive they trade low-grade weapons for meds, food and raw materials.
The Brotherhood's solidarity has been fractured by numerous schisms. The Eastern Brotherhood of Steel (E-BOS) was an expedition to the north east but lost contact and has seceeded since then. The Circle of Steel were elite Paladins who seceeded after they suspected that a conspiracy was set against them.
The Brotherhood of Steel has become but a shadow of its former glory. A new High Elder, Jeremy Maxson, vowed to restore the Brotherhood to the heights of supremacy; and that means being the sole holder of technology and martial force. The areas of the Brotherhood of Steel braced for war, and the BOS started wresting arms from all they considered 'lower people'.
The Enclave
After the destruction of the oil rig and the Enclave command, there still existed hundreds of Enclave troopers in the mainland. their goals unclear, and objectives naught, they chose to move on and change their operations. They became similar to the BOS in the sense that they can reproduce their technology and make new ones based on the knowledge of the sciences.

High Elder Jeremy Maxson and the council of elders have raised the call to war. the NCR was (of course) unwilling to submit to the dearmament demands of the Brotherhood of Steel. the Brotherhood and the NCR declared all out war to each other.
The Brotherhood of Steel has the upperhand in technology: their Paladins are equipped with T-51b pre-war designed Power Armor and may choose from a wide array of weaponry: Assault Paladins wield Plasma Rifles, Crack Assault Paladins wield miniguns, Templar Brothers wield Super Sledgehammers and AT Paladins wield Dragon Rocket Launchers.
The main 'fodder' infantry of the Brotherhood are the squires, armed with Laser Rifles and armored with Brotherhood Steel Armor. The Knights are more heavily armored with their Brotherhood Polymer Armor and carry Plasma Rifles. The Paladins are the heavy infantry.
The NCR can only match the Brotherhood's superior technology with the best resource they have.... manpower. Overwhelmingly superior in numbers, NCR troops outnumber BOS troops 50 to 1. The main infantry of the NCR are the NCR Troopers. NCR Troopers are armored with Leather Armor Mk.II and given standard issue FN FAL with 5 extra clips. if no FN FAL is available, then a Trooper is given an Assault Rifle with 6 extra clips. the more experienced and undoubtedly more combat worthy are the NCR Rangers. NCR rangers are armored with green Kevlar full torso armor and a ballistic helmet, and are armed with Ranger equipment (Bozars, Pancor Jackhammers, HK CAWS, Laser Rifles). The NCR also have scouts, the NCR Tribal Scout. the tribals contribute much to the war effort, providing the recruits and all, but more traditional tribals serve as scouts and recon units, being able to move fast, quickly and travel more. _________________ "War.... war never changes....." After a person known to many only as the 'Chosen One' helped Vault City solve the riddle of the mysteriously organized raider mercenaries; exposing the conspiracy of the NCR council contracting Godfather John Bishop of New Reno, Vault City was finally accepted by NCR to be a separate state. Tandi respected the decision of Vault City to remain unaffiliated and independent.
The 'Chosen One' while an honorary citizen of Vault City, acted as a powerful diplomat for the Ghoul city of Gecko also, negotiating with Vault City to trade medical supplies for Gecko's enormous excess power. The ghouls' suffering was much relieved, and Vault City progressed.
Redding almost took a nose dive towards the endless vicious cycle of Jet addiction but the 'Chosen One' came at an opportune moment to act on behalf of Vault City to deliver a newly produced Jet antidote. The populace suffered extreme withdrawal symptoms but were ultimately cured. After the destruction of the Enclave's oil rig, Redding's populace unanimously voted 'Painless' Doc Johnson as Mayor (pronounced 'Mare' by the people of Redding though ). Doc Johnson worked for the annexation of Redding to Vault City himself, and 10% of the population of Redding was eventually granted Citizenship.
The VC Autonomous Republic as it came to be called focused mainly on the welfare and utopian living of its citizens, education for citizens (and 2nd class education for outworlders), medical services and development, Architecture and finally Defensive measures rather than war. the VCAR prefers to stay out of the war between NCR and BOS as much as it can, but some adventurous citizens ventured out to act as mercenaries for both sides. Since all VCAR citizens are capable medics, their assistance is very welcome to any side they choose to fight for.
The Den
Following the death of the notorious bad-ass slaver lord Metzger, managing the shantytown of The Den fell into Rebecca Dyer's hands. Becky's own 'police force' grew in strength as well. While 'Becky' has her own views on God, religion and morality, her handling of The Den's affairs was very relaxed. banning Slavery aside, Becky often practiced a "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" policy in The Den for smaller 'naughty' things (like gambling, sleazy massage parlors, loan sharks, mercenary guilds). while Gangsters are free to live in the Den and often fight among themselves, Becky makes it a point that she dislikes these brawls and dispatches the cops to break it up.
Because The Den lies in a ::relatively:: safe route where deathclaws, floaters, centaurs, gehenna, molechs are rare, The Den flourished as a dependable trading post and a place to relax (due to the numerous bars and recreational spots) much like New Reno without the mafia. And while living in The Den can become rather tough, making a decent living and honest way of life in The Den is more than possible. _________________ "War.... war never changes....." QUICK_EDIT
Less than a month after the Enclave's destruction, a mob war
broke out on New Reno streets. The Wright's armed with an
arsenal of weaponry that dated back to the pre-war years,
levelled the casinos of the other families with rocket
launchers. The 'mob war' was clocked as lasting a little over
forty-three minutes, and when the smoke cleared, half of New
Reno had been demolished. To this day, it is commonly taught
that the Wright Family were the founders of New Reno.
How to get it: Kill the leaders of all the families except
the Wrights, and become a made man of the Wrights.
I killed all families myself, got a hard time though...
but f you have a metal armor (be it Mk. I or II) you're safe from laser pistols... _________________

Of course, anyone can do that with POWER ARMOR...
The "grease gun" with a good Small Arms level and high perception you can rip Casino Bouncers and thugs apart effectively. Make sure you got either the Purple Robe, combat armor or metal armor...
On metal armor, laser shots and 10mm shots seem to richochet away XD I get no damage if they hit me. You're also safe from knives and punches... _________________
