I think this is the right moment to post the first development blog for this great "Total Conversion for YR". I'm sorry about that I haven't posted up anything new past two months. Reason for that is that I have a summer job, a band called Corindum and other few things that make me busy, lazy and tired. I have to drive a tractor in a drained swamp 6 to 9 hours a day (but not then when it's raining). We have band trainings two times a week and I'm playing drums. And also a new C&C project is a reason...

And now back to the topic. I've done something past two months, but I wasn't sure about showing the work because I might change them anyway. Heck about the changing, I'll show them anyway... and also make a topic for each new thing...


Latest updates:

I've done Alien Walls without damage frames, but they still looks yummy!! :p



Everyone should do this kind of renders with their current models :p



Then I've done the "famous" Coelacanth, but still need to convert it into VXL

Before these previous crap I started to model a Container Ship, but later I ran into a problem that I'll try to solve... So, here's some containers:



And now for the rest stuff: I've started to make the new UI for X-Com side, but it's still WIP and won't be shown anywhere, yet. And if you think that I haven't thought all, then you're wrong! Check out this underwater mine!! (In-game size soon...)




Soon to be happen:

My good friend Mike Island comes here tomorrow to pay some attention to my project. We will make some music and record EVA for this mod. After that, I'll give ya nice little samples of our work.


PS. My new laptop crashed while I was uploading images to imageshack.us!! #Mad
But luckily I was writing this on Mozilla Firefox and it was able to recover the last session. Thanks Mozilla!! Very Happy

Yay Coelacanth Very Happy

Can't wait to blast some aliens with the good ol jet cannons/missiles on those things, and Gauss too later on. Walls look fine too.
